MGS Beta available in Canada?

I just called my local EBgames and they said that this promotion is only going to be in the States. Can anyone confirm this, or has anyone picked up their beta code/disc in Canada yet. If so where? Thanks

That's not true. I'm in Hamilton over here and my EB got an email saying that it's on the way, likely to arrive this week.

Other Canadians on the MGS4 board (a few living in Quebec) are saying theirs are coming aswell. The US got theirs last week, I guess cause of border crossing and all, we'll get ours the next week.

Kinda offtopic but do you have to place a full pre-order(pay in full) to get a beta key? Or can you place a pre-order which only has like 10 bucks and get the beta key? Cause I remember you could do that in the past.slip_killer

Ya man you just pre-order and give them a $10 deposit and your usually set. That's how my Gamestop works here. Anyways we always seem to get things later here in Canada so I say keep checking (ill be checking my GS tomorrow!)

damnit,, i just called the EB games store here (called like 10 days ago last) and he said theyre all out of them

I honestly dont really even care as the game doesnt look like itd be fun online,, and GTA4 comes out same time,,, i just wanted in for the sake of it being limited

i got it from another EB games ! YAY!!!!

Because GTA4 is comin out the week after, and just because it was pure donkey balls we had to wait 3 weeks, im not gonna get the COD4 map pack

Yeah, IF you can get on the euro servers. They're doing the betas in their own territories. They don't make beta servers global.
