how in the world does "have to take some steps" mean it's coming to 360??? what if he means the franchise itself can be branched off to other consoles like Wii, DS, PSP or PC???

They should hold off until Christmas then I don't see what the problem is no one expects this game to come out anytime soon, plus more people are actually waiting for MGS4 to be released before they get a PS3. Trust me if they releaseQ1 08 or Q4 07 they will be able to get good sales and money.

You clearly don't know much about gaming so I'll break it down for ya. It can't come out on the Wii, DS, PSP because none of them are able to support them. If it's going to have some trouble on the 360 how in the world would it be able to come out on the Wii (as powerful as the first xbox) and handhelds. PC is a possiblity, but leaning more towards Xbox360 because it's another console and it has a huge user base. It probably will get ported to the 360 eventually, but I do'nt think that having a price drop will significantly increase the amount of users to the point were Konami can justify an exclusive title. They spent alot of money and years working on a game that would need to profit from and I'm afraid that the ps3 wouldn't be able to provide any ROI

I played metal gear on nIntendo. (in fact MGS2 subsistance was multiplat)

But it's just a game alot of people don't wanna see go on 360, just to shut them up ( there's always FF 13. But really as I've said I am looking forward to these new gams like White Knight Story, and the next game from the makers of SOTC, FF13vs, HOme, RROM, Motorstorm 2) etc

the trolls really have high expectations about MGS4...

i wonder what they'll feel like when they see us playing the game on our PS3 and they get left to droll on it.

I don't want a weaker console to limit all MGS4 can be on the PS3... at best they can get the washed down port 1year or so after :)
