MGS4 running 720p!! PROOF inside!

Hello guys, when Ryan Paython posted a couple of pics of people playing the DEMO at "E for all", I noticed that the LCDs that the people were playing on were actually SAMSUNGS and I kinda got the same EXACT one. My HDTV can go up to 1080i and 720p. So basically, if MGS4 DEMO was running on that TV then this means it is going to be either 720p or 1080i.

TC, that ain't any proof AT ALL. Your points just make no sense.

From when does SAMSUNG stop producing FullHD LCD TVs?

1) If your SAMSUNG can't do it, that's your own issue. There're plenty of SAMSUNG out there will do FullHD.

2) Even if the TV sets in the pics are not FullHD LCD TVs, it still doesn't make your point legit. Cuz why the heck would Konami buy whole bunch of FullHDTVs which is much more expensive when 720P/1080I will do the trick in a show?

At Game Conventions when devs want to show off their games to the public, they usually give them all they got to attract them to the game, Kojima Productionsis no different!

Remember, this doesn't mean the game won't look good at 720p! Personally I think MGS4 gameplay quality as far as the graphics go, is TOP NOTCH!(Textures, character models, lighting, framerate etc...)

P.S: Killzone will be 720p too and look how gorgeous it looks!!!

NBA Live runs at 1080p also. but since my tv does not support it. it runs at 720p or 1080i I believe.

ummm 720 or 1080 we already know its gonna run in 1 of these resolutions you hardly expect it to be 360p WOW LOW DEF AT ITS BEST!

this isnt proof the game might be 1080 but the stall that they used only had them tv's and thats only like a 26" you cant tell the difference between 720 and 1080 at that size

There is another SAMSUNG HDTV that looks similar to this one but again both models go up to 1080i/720p.

They could use those tv's to save money.

Even if it was 1080p Native it can run Downscaled to a 720p Native set.

Ok, then I'll have to wait and see but at least I was right that it was actually running 720p either downscaled from 1080p or not! Either way the game looks F***** gorgeous!!

those of you who played the demo at that show, can you answer mea question, please. Is MGS4 using Anti Aliasing or not?

720p seems to be the sweet spot for console gaming, its still looks awesome and the difference between 720p and 1080p is not really worth it if its going to cause framerate problems.

Allot of developers have said 720p is the best resolution for gaming in this generation.

I also have a very similar samsung hdtv.

I seen your profile pic and thought that guy looks allot like Kojima then i realised it was Kojima.
