MGS4-360,"80% chance" THIS E3!

Well it seems that IGN has predicted many things along with MGS4 going multiplatform...

I dont believe them obviously because Konami hasn't confirmed anything but if this DID happen i think PS3 would take a massive hit..just wondering what you guys think the chances are to compare against IGN

Actually the 7 disc version. Kojima wants MGS4 on a 50GB bluray disc since it won't fit on a normal 25GB bluray disc.

Didn't Kojima already explain it in one his of interview? Well, I think in the Konami/Kojima Productions Stand, before they show the new MGS4 trailer, they should add this: PS3 Exclusive. No explaining to do then. :P

Actually if you read it, the only reason why they say there is an 80% chance, is only because of that interview where they said that MGS4 could run on 360 hardware.

however for some reason IGN doesn't notice the rest of the interview.

If they did announce MGS4 for the Xbox360 at this E3, then I will have lost all respect for Kojima after flat out saying that it could only be done on the PS3, and not just once did he say it, but on multiple occasions. But since Kojima never said it could be done on the Xbox360, I am beginning to wonder about IGN's editors integrity they are hiring on.Delsage

kojima would not go against his fans to much respect. and less not forget putting a game out on a system with slow sells is way better choice then putting on a system with no fan base in japan. the ps3 is saling good in europe,uk,australia, it aint dead in japan like 360 and its far from dead in north america. so if its money they have nothing to worry about. now putting it on the 360 woudlnt be a good idea i might go their a year or 2 from no but i dont see that happeing

Kojima has never made a game for two platforms at once. His first game on the platform is made with hard work and effort for THAT specific platform and if he wants it ported, he throws a different company to do it for him, not Kojima Productions.

Never going to happen, so don't worry about it. Kojima has stated in many interviews that he will keep it ps3 exclusive because that's the way he wants it to be enjoyed quote "The Ps3 is like a theater a bit high priced but has to be high quality too.." goes on to say he wants it on the ps3. Furthermore, there was an article which said MGS 4 has already taken up 48 gb worth of data. At this point it will end up needing 2 blu rays let alone about 10 xbox 360 9gb dvds. So really man, don't buy into this media hyped crap. Sites like ign will keep posting this articles that are meant to get people riled up and curious so that you will linger over their site until they write an article that confirms what you knew all along but doubted. If you are still in doubt, check out this article and read the bits about the ps3.
