The fact that there is a giant Assassins Creed poster at the very end is odd as is the way the camera doesn't focus on Hideo. I think both of these videos were cycled around during April fools.

Edit: Btw it might not be flash backs. It might be a dream as snake says.....atleast some of you should know you could play a dream in mgs3 too, and this might be the same, that mgs3 dream was a zombie dream so not exactly the same, but whatever=P

doesnt look totally like he is "replaying" the old mission so to speak- but he is having dreams about being in those places again. perhaps were going to see things snaked missed- and something is trying to get him to realize something that happened in his prior missions that he never paid any attention to.

whats really interesting about this is how far these flash backs will go....snake has a ton of missions in the canonical metal gear solid series going way back to zanzibar and outer haven. and who knows- maybe we'll finally see if snakes "memes" will come to play and we'll end up wondering around in a dream based on big boss's missions.

No, he used a different type of camo - stealth camoflage, which you can obtain and become invisible. Octocamo is more like an automated version of MGS3's camo - patterns that make you harder to see, but not invisible.

It could be the time between MGS2 and MGS4 because Snake had the Octocamo, which was non existant in MGS1 and Shadowmoses looked really desolate, like after the whole incident. So I think that after MGS2, Snake went back to the ruins of the fortress for some reason.jakndaxter7223

The twists keep coming! Just another upgrade to why we all need to pick up MGS4!

It will definitely be a twist to play tthrough MGS with MGS4 controls/graphics. Can't wait to try it out!

This was a very baffling teaser. It's possible that you revisit Shadow Moses. Wasn't the bombing in MGS1 called off at the last minute. Solid_Cobra

Have you seen the trailer of Rex vs Ray that was released last year, it showed them facing each in a cold place which looks like the base in Shadow Moses.

At first i thought that Snake might have to return to Shadow Moses becuase it looks a little abonded (but probably becuase thier is a snow storm) and the fact that he was wearing Otocamo. But if you look it looks like his hair is brown, and doesnt Snake from MGS4 have white hair? I mean they could be playable dreams and that would be great.

If I remember correctly from reading In The Darkness Of Shadow Moses, it was actually Richard Ames and The Patriots who called off the bombing after Jim Houseman gave the bombing orders without their approval. They were then going to retrieve the data from Revolver Ocelot and use Houseman as a scapegoat for the whole thing.

Well, Campbell said that at the end to Snake by codec, and seeing as Solidus was placed by the Patriots could be the same. I didn't read much about that article,because I played MGS1 and know the story.

I might start MGS2 and read that article because it was a long time ago that I read it.
