[QUOTE="deuce85"][QUOTE="Star650"][QUOTE="ronniepage588"] [QUOTE="jakndaxter7223"]It could be the time between MGS2 and MGS4 because Snake had the Octocamo, which was non existant in MGS1 and Shadowmoses looked really desolate, like after the whole incident. So I think that after MGS2, Snake went back to the ruins of the fortress for some reason.Star650
dude- shadow moses was completely destroyed- remember it was bombed...so no it cant be between mgs2 and 4, its basically him having a dream that he is back there- and because of the fact that he is wearing the suit in the chopper he is dreaming wearing it. also- its not exactly a real location- its definitely a dream, he arrives there from a path that never existed.
I think you need to play the game again, because Shadow Moses didn't get bombed, it was called off after Campbell got in touch with the president who at that time was George Sears(Solidus Snake)
If I remember correctly from reading In The Darkness Of Shadow Moses, it was actually Richard Ames and The Patriots who called off the bombing after Jim Houseman gave the bombing orders without their approval. They were then going to retrieve the data from Revolver Ocelot and use Houseman as a scapegoat for the whole thing.
Well, Campbell said that at the end to Snake by codec, and seeing as Solidus was placed by the Patriots could be the same. I didn't read much about that article, because I played MGS1 and know the story.
I might start MGS2 and read that article because it was a long time ago that I read it.
That's true, Campbell got in touch with the President, but The Patriots knew what Houseman was up to anyway because they were monitoring everything Snake did and said throughout the whole mission (via his injected Nanomachines).
Solidus was already in trouble with the Patriots anyway, since he was actually the one who staged the terrorist's uprising of Shadow Moses. He did this by getting his right-hand man Ocelot (who Solidus did not know was actually an agent of The Patriots until Ocelot revealed it in MGS2) to persuade Liquid to pull off such an event. In the meantime Liquid would think it was his own doing this whole time.
You can read In The Darkness Of Shadow Moses on the web as well. It's a deeper insight into what went on behind the scenes.
