Hey I am very interested in this game becuase it seems to be a lot of fun and is something very much new. I saw the GS review that is up and the game looks fun, but you could never be to sure. I wanted to know what did you guys think about the game, those of you who have played the game , and also if the game is worth buying or not?

It's worth renting & playing to be sure, but buying? No way. It's ridiculously short & just doesn't have any longevity whatsoever, (even the speed runs get old real quick). So at least rent it & blow through it in a sittng or two just because it's so unique, but don't drop $50-60 bones on it, it's just not worth the price of admission.

Mirror's Edge feels like PS1 game to me, its no way near innovative at all, its just like platform in a crappy first person.

Those are both rents in my eyes. PoP is way too short and easy, and it's impossible to get stuck.

Mirrors Edge is awesome, but short. I rarely rent games, but this is one I was glad I did.

well trust someone with a MGS4 avatar to give you an objective opinion about a game in which you are rewarded for never using a gun... :) i love it and it will have DLC too in January to extend replayability. if you like the gameplay that is

I have to echo what everyone else said. Rent the game or wait for it to drop to the 30 dollar price range. It is way too short for 60 bucks. Either way I say you should at least experience the game somehow. Some of the jumps are effing amazing. I have the game itself just because I traded farcry for it.

Mirror's Edge is a must buy. Sure, the single player is only as long as other single player campaigns these days, like in Gears or Resistance, but it makes up for it with very innovative and addictive gameplay. It also has time trials, which are like gaming crack, and you're constantly trying to get the best times on the leaderboards, and it's fun even trying to beat your ghost. Also, by buying Mirror's Edge, you're telling developers you support innovation over stagnation. It's well worth the price of admission, and a new and refreshing game that any self respecting gamer should have in their collection.

Wasn't really a fan of this game. I got to a part then died 20 times, then finally passed it, then died 20 more times etc. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a challenge, but this game was just frustrating the entire way through. I sold it back.

I bought it. Should've been like 40-50 bucks at max, but whatever right? I think it's a pretty neat game, innovative and pretty slick.

That was the perfect answer.

I have nothing to add except my approval.
