Mod Nation Racers Demo PS3 Thoughts

Loved it.

Gameplay improved from the beta.

Gonna have to get this at some point, but i have to get trough some other games first.

I wasn't impressed with the beta so didn't bother downloading the demo.

GT5 will be my next racing game.

My mate gets the Motorstorm games, I tend to prefer racing on circuits to off-roading...however if the new codemasters F1 game comes out before GT5 then I could become severly tempted. :)

Haha, right? I never heard about the demo coming. It is not the best demo, but when you play with it more and more you start to realize the potential the game has. The little mechanics the devs put into the gameplay such as the boost/shield gauge makes for some interesting gameplay. Buying this game no doubt.

I downloaded it last night, and I'm absolutely loving it - even though you only get access to a little bit of it (90% of the stuff is locked, it seems), it's still a total blast. Racing on the extreme levels is crazy hard, but the challenge is what makes it great. And personally I like the controls - drifting feels great, and I like the way you have to be careful when doing tricks in the air, because if you land wrong it'll totally screw you up. You've gotta make an instant decision - go for the extra bonus boost, or play it safe and know you won't risk getting slowed down when you land? This game seems to add a lot more strategy to the driving than most kart racers have.

Although I never had any issues, you CAN adjust your camera (distance from character) in the options menu which you can find by hiting start and going to extras then options.
