Modern warfare 2 might not be what its all crack up to be

I think I'll give it a chance. As long as it's Infinity Ward, I don't think anything can go wrong. They know how to make a proper shooter.

I dont know, but i'm starting to hate some of the posters here on this board. You like a game they didn't, and then they assume that you're incapable of deciding what is good, and what isn't. Some people here need to drop the smart-ass attitude.

Infinity Ward has been proven to be the best CoD developers by critics and gamers. I don't doubt IW one bit. The day they make a bad game is also the day I will sell my consoles, and forever put gaming to rest. But that won't happen ;)

Im all for the online so i dont care if it will be like CoD4 with beter graphics and new weapons, that's just good enough for me.

Better graphics? I hardly noticed any difference what so ever between the two games. I think World at War looks better than what we've seen of Modern Warfare 2. Also there's no way it can meet the hype it's getting.

Does anyone else think, millions of people are just riding the hype train? So far that i seen in videos screen shots it looks like cod4 with better graphics and more guns. Exactly! I do not believe they can back up the amount of hype this game is receiving. it will be the same ol same ol... scripted non linear game play it's always been. It will be nothing more than an expansion pack I bet you. Just like R6V2 was, just like, Gears 2 was, just like all the other CODs was except for COD4. COD4 was different... because it brought different things to the table on the multiplayer side... campaign sucked though. COD WAW was COD4 with a better campaign and to me better multiplayer... but it still was something done already the year before. They are messing up and releasing COD games like Guitar Hero and Madden games... every freaking year... the gravy train is going to stop rolling soon though... they don't have enough time to come up with new formulas. They will keep the hype up as long as it lives... that's why they are dropping this STUPID $150 PRESTIGE EDITION!!!! WTF ARE THEY SMOKING?
