man its been about a week my house was broken into when i was at school man my ps3 was stolen my beutiful 60GB PS3 got robbed and a whole buch of other stuf man im so borred now there is nothing to do i tried goning back to the ps2 but couldnt get used to it the no trigger buttons were killing me and no one was online on th ps2 is there a way to track it down from the serial number or something am supposed to get another one in a cuple days i remeber playing it on my big screen 65inch HDTV using the HD component cabels man HD WAS GREAT i loved resistance online but to bad for me it got stolen the thing that bothers me the most is thhat my spring break just started today is 10 days long so man i have 10days that i couldve played my ps3 in and worked out but noe no ps3 only working ou or playing basketball king247

Man I don't even let the UPS guy look into my house. I open the door a bit, step outside and pull it almost shut behind me. The day I bought my PS3 and TV my fiance and I carried the TV (in a box) into the house with a blanket over it so it looked like some piece of big furniture. Sorry you got your stuff jacked bud. Good opportunity to find a new hobby I guess.

i got my ps3 in febuary 16 but the store i went to wich is F.Y.E had the last 60gb ps3 i went every were that was the only store that had it and luckly it was a launch console that was left over

dude i got my ps3 stolen a week after i got it, and i got it at launch. we found the guy but he already sold it and to this very day i am still waiting for court to get our money back so i can go get another one. even if you did catch him it takes forever for you to go to court and get your money back that is if he sold it already, if he still has it you might be able to get it back. anyway i am prolly the only one in this thread who knows how you feel and i am still pissed that i have not got my money back. it sucks soooo bad i almost cried until we found the guy then i thought we might get it back in a week or so but nooo its takin months and still nothing im soo pissed.

yes but maybe not the full price they should pay the full price, you should atleast argue about it, even throw in some extra games and accesories, my kitchen caught on fire and insurance replaced everything we even got the most expensive appliances, got new floor( just for one tiny black mark) even got new couches which was in the living room but my mom argued about them getting darker in color cause of the smoked that filled up my house, they were pretty old and we got the full 1400 dollars of them so you should argue about gettin full price and throw in games and accesories even if you dont have them cause ur insurance is gonna take a detuctible which could be around 250 to 500 depending. I know its not the right thing to do but tons of people pay all their life and nothing happens to them, plus your insurance probably might go up so might as well get all you can while ur at it

There are a few things you can do: 1. Check local pawn shops, there is a chance they were just stealing this stuff for the cash, take the serial numbers of all the items stolen to every pawn shop you can find, if they have your item and you have the serial numbers, as well as the police report, by law they are required to turn the items back over to you. They will also have the name and address of the person who sold it to them, since by law they have to verify ID for everyone that pawns something. 2. INSURANCE, if your parents have homeowners insurance, there is nothing for you to worry about, as it will cover everything. 3. If you had a credit or debit card stored on that PS3, cancel it and have the bank put a tracer on the card number. If that person was dumb enough to use your PS3 and buy something from the Playstation store using the information stored on the console, it will make them much easier to track down. Even if they try to do something after you cancel the card the bank will flag the transactin and take appropriate action. 4. Talk to Sony, and have them trace the serial number, won't do any good until someone tries to go online with that console, but they can trace the person back to their IP address. Even if the person who stole it from you sold the console to someone else, it is still illegal to posess stolen goods, so you can get the police to get your PS3 back from the person that bought it from the original thief.
