Well I'm going to be honest. Before I got the 360 my PS3 controller was fine. After playing the 360 for a couple weeks (only had Fable II) I felt like some online shooting and went to Farcry 2 on my PS3. To my surprise the right analog stick was loose and playing an FPS was out of the question. I've had the PS3 (60GB) for just over the one year now and I'm wondering if I call up Sony what would they do? I should probably call soon since Killzone 2 comes out this month.

Ah but I used it and it was fine. Two weeks later I come back to use it and it is not okay, before I play. It only sat on my desk. Problem is controllers are expensive, I don't have enough for a new one and a game... I'll figure something out I suppose. Really want to play Killzone 2, really badly.

Your Ps3 is just punishing you for ignoring it and the 360 for 2 weeks.

If I made a thread every time my controller broke I would have made 5 threads so far. $250 worth of controllers is getting a little ridiculous. There should be a warning that says the controllers don't last long when slammed on the ground

Judging from the topic title I was fully prepared to tell you that you're playing the Resident Evil 5 demo. Anyways, your best bet is to get a new controller.
