My new PS3 Slim creeks like a haunted mansion!

Every day or so it just randomely creeks and its kinda loud. I don't know if i should be worried, should i?

I'm not worried about it at all

Mine doesn creek like that all the time it just makes a snapping sound every now and then but It will go with age.

My BenQ monitor used to creek for months non stop and since its in the same room I sleep in it drove me nuts!

Dang. I thought I was going crazy when I was hearing it creek like my old house aha. I haven't noticed it latly though.

My recently bought Slim has made no strange noises; yet. Helen played Folk lore for about 6 hours the other night, with no groans (from the slim)

same here, i feel that the plastic counter i put my Slim on is doing that, but i think its my system if yours is doing the same

because of the cheaper nature of the plastic casing in the SLIM, the SLIM creeks more due to expansion and contraction of the plastic.

the original PS3 is held together by MANY, MANY screws. This one is held together by folded tabs.

My phat PS3 creaks sometimes, probably due to the expansion/contraction of the plastic
