I had a Xbox 360 and it got RROD. I sold it immediately cause I didn't want to deal with that repeatedly. So I bought a Ps3 cause it has a reputation for being reliable. And then this happens...

I truly feel dead inside. So freakin frustrating. I don't have any money to repair it. :( Warranty is over

Sorry for the blog post. Continue on.

Try some canned air, maybe the lens just has dirt on it.

Ya. Was going to try canned air tomorrow. Praying that it works. Otherwise I'll miss out on LBP for sure.

Yea man that sucks ass. Hopefully the canned air works for you! Another solution is to take the PS3 apart and clean the lens manually by opening up the disc drive, it sounds hard but its surprisingly easy and since your warranty is up you might as well give that a try too.

As a last resort I found this youtube video on how to disassemble and clean the lens.

I heard also you can buy blu-ray drives sometimes on ebay for PS3.

Stop putting waffles in there and you'll be just fine. Not a day goes by that I dont read a post about some crazy person wanting to make breakfast while gaming, its tragic :)

The game fills up a whole dual-layer blu-ray disk (~52GB), if you could download it from the PSN it would fill up most/all of your harddrive :P
