Ok can anyone tell me what this is suposed to be. Is it a newer version of the 360 one with more stuff, or is it a fighting game?

i'll wait and see before I say if its good or not. The 360 version is just an introduction and only has the first 80 or so eposides. The bad thing is in North America we are so far behind that when games are made it doesn't have as much as it should. Like right now Naurto 4 for the gamecube should be over here in the states for people to play but I'm not even sure if they are going to bring it over. This game looks ok, but lets wait and see. Japanese version i sso much better then its American Counterpart.
Gamers Game....Fanboys Pick Sides......
It's a totally different game from the 360 or the WII, I believe even the devs aren't the same.
from the name I'd expect it to com out 2008 and so far it's looking sweet.

yep you're right, naruto ps3 is being made by namco, this game has nothing to do with naruto 360 or wii
since when can naruto shoot his rasengan? stop overpowering the serie's characters! the balance is what makes "naruto" naruto...kiwisama
He didn't shoot it. He uses his rasengan on Sasuke and he flies away.
This is a fantastic news!!
The only Naruto I enjoy is the one that is not released outside of Japan yet on my PS2 - Naruto Accel 2 which is the best one in series so far for me.
Unfortunately the X360 version was quite bad in my opinion. This is not 360 fault though, the game looks beautiful, however it was developed for American crowd by Ubisoft which I respect for most of their games but they haven't done a good job with Naruto. If they spend more time working on the game, it would had been different story. They don't have proper music nor Japanese voice actors and lack of content especially outside of Konoha village was very lacking, I just can't listen to "Believe it" comment witout even an option to switch langauges..
It makes Naruto look and sounds like a kid. He indeed is very young, however in original Japanese versions lots of maturity is shown through his and his friends progress and that does not translate well with kiddie English voice actors.
That's my opinion.
From the trailer, this could finally be a great Naruto game. The music is there, and I'm sure there will be an option for original voice acting as it should be for any Naruto Anime fan. After all, this is a bloody Anime based game. For the fans graphics won't matter, proper gameplay, language and content will matter the most.
Here is for another hope to bring Naruto properly to next generation. Since this version is PS3, I have high hopes because of Sony background and where it comes from.
