NBA 2K10 or NBA Live 10

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting a basketball game.

Read and watched the reviews on IGN.

What i could summarize is:

2K10 - The presentation and environments look amazing. But it was mentioned that the gameplay isn't that solid.

Live 10 - Presentation and environments doesn't look as good as 2K's. But the gameplay is more solid.

Correct me if i'm wrong here.

Anyway which of the 2 should I get?

I played nba2k9 and it was so real but I don't know about nba2k10 but it looks better than nba live 10 to me ,u have to try both demos,I am not intersting with nba so much but I really love nba2k9.

2k10 is probably better game, but this year's 2k basketball game has A LOT of problems.

it's basketball game. In terms of visual you can't do much to make the difference seems like night and day.

But if you play both games side by side, you can see some vast improvement with animations and details.

Yeah nba 2k10 has some awesome features im really looking forward to, but nba 10 step up their game as well alot so credit to them also.

The gameplay is "more solid" in Nba live than 2k10???

nba 2k10 hands down..my cousin put me on to this game ever since thats the only basketball game i bought

When it comes to sports game, 2K games usually aren't as good as the EA counterpart, so I would personally go with NBA Live 10.get-ka12

That is true, overall ea sports dominate the sport game category but for basketball i have to go vise versa and say 2k10.

have any of you even played 2k10, the game is horrible the frame rate is SOO bad for a sports game (when releasing the ball is crucial) and has so many bugs/glitches.Online doesnt even work. you guys r all a joke and 2k fan boys

I've haven't played either yet, but from past experience, the 2K series has always been better than the NBA Live series. A lot of people are saying there are problems with the new 2K, but the reviews were still decent on it across the board, so I'd say get 2K, you probably won't be disappointed.

I bought Nba2k10 as my first nba game this gen. Im not dissappointed at all because its a great game.
