I know that the emotion engine or chip has been removed from the 80gb version and emulation software has been put in the 80gb version....but what exactly does that mean? Does it only affect the PS2 games and if so how? I just need a little more clarity on this aspect, that's all. thanks!

It means the 60GB unit is more compatible with older PS2 games. (Not by much I'd say though)

yes but i can get my ps2 ps1 games in 1080i on my 60 gig with no worries and less effort *just put it in and play*. i heard there is alot of glitches on the emulation ones tho. but its new so it could be fixed.

its really up to u. if u want to save 100 bucks get the 60 gig and u want extra 20 gigs and motorstorm get the 80 gig.

if u wait a few months i bet sony sweetens the 80 gig deal for xmas...
