Hey!
With Street Fighter X Tekken fast approaching, I need to get myself ready XD.
I have a low budget right now so I was thinking of picking up a fightpad instead of a fightstick for now.... For those who uses or used fightpad, can you tell me which one is the best one? (Let say, the one that you cansay is the "closest" to fightsticks feel and accuracy).
I saw this at Gamestop/EB games once and I was wondering if it's good?

http://www.ebgames.ca/ps3/accessories/playstation-3-versus-fighting-pad/311375

or...do you think I should wait a bit for the official MadCatz Street Figther X Tekken fightpad?

http://www.madcatz.com/SFXTekken/fightpads.html

The big difference I see between those 2 is the D-pad , but are those features in the MadCatz version really worth 20$ more than the PDP ones?
Overall, which one is better?

Thanks!

**EDIT: It looks like fightpad aren't good xD. I will have to spend a few more bucks to get myself a cheap fightstick. Any suggestions?!

How is this one?http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0057WDBHA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB

Honestly, I would just use your DS3 instead of a fight pad. All the fight pads I have used (MCZ) felt really light and cheap. The dpad on the DS3 is just fine, and fighters control pretty well on standard controllers lately. But if you can get a stick eventually, go with that.

i wouldn't go pdp either i have heard bad things about the d pad getting stuck and some of the micro switches can stop working. I know a friend who got the marvel one and it lasted 2 months before he ran into both of those problems. It seems quite common too check the amazon reviews. Fight pads just aren't the way to go really i would just stick with a normal controller or go for a fight stick even if its not the greatest.

messing with either of these fight pads though will almost certainly end up being a waste of money when they break.

You could always get the Vita version with 17 extra characters.

Ive owned a few fightpads and the problem that I would always run into was de syncing... I'm so glad that they Put a cord on this one. Im getting one day one! .....oh and btw the pdp controllers were horible for me. they made circular motions (like zangiefs ultra) easier but alot of times i would try to jump straight up and it would register as an angled jump???

You mean like, not responsive (syncing)?
