Need help with MGO!!!!!

Whenever i play metal gear online, i am not able to talk to anybody. I think there might be a problem with the online or something because it happens to my friend also. but whenever we play killzone it works perfectly. any help!??

You have to hold select. Something will pop on screen telling you it's on, it'll be on the left side.
