I'm looking forward to using Netflix in my living room. I used to use it on my Xbox but I didn't have the wifi adapter or a long enough cord to reach. Netflix was one of the only reasons I was using my xbox recently. My xbox is at the shop now after it redringed watching Serenity in HD over Netflix on it.

You mean the disk that you have to keep in your tray in order to use Netflix? lol That's pretty bad to have to depend on a disk for streaming, I don't understand why they can't use other more convenient means for the PS3. Aw well!

I thought the disc just sad a piece of software on it that installs to your ps3, sort of like an app that gets embedded into the xmb. What the hell? Contract? What does Microsoft have to do with Netflix installing a piece of sotware on your ps3 over a "streaming disc" running in the system? I don't get it

no the disk is only temporary untill a update sometime this year or next year that will allow u to use netflix without the disk, this is just a way to rush it out to ppl, there was a thread with a link explaining it....its only temporary

well even if it was a disk in its not like ur going to play a game while watchin movies lol. but i kinda understand where u coming from. but yea sony just tryin to get netflix out asap so they doin this disk thing, until they do the update where netflix will be added as a icon on the xmb and u wouldnt need the disk

I'm so gladto hear this now if i renew my netflix account I can down/load movies to my PS3 I tried this with My xbox but found out I needed a gold account which I refuse to pay for.
