Cid would be cool, but the problem with him is that he's in almost every game and he's virtually the same in every game. They would have to decide which version of Cid is best.

FFVII verson is best version.

Thank you! I've had many long debates with my friends over which was better. It's not really a contest, though VII was excellent.

If they're going for some substitutes this time around, definitely Yuna instead of Tidus. Laguna for FFVIII would be boss.

I would like to see The White Mage in the game:)

Sora Roxas and Kairi.

I still got the first one to do but it didn't hold my interest because I found it repetitive, and it felt like it wasn't going anywhere for me. I hope to get back into it though, I'm not sure I'll pick this one up.BIOKILLER123

It can get repetative, especially the some of the longer storylines. you really just have to give it time, and maybe change characters after a few fights, that way fights stay fresh. i enjoy using Squall the most but his style is really simple so I also use Shantotto because of her uniqueness. then again it might just be the wrong game for you...

the costume idea for cloud to be zack was a good idea

also why VIII better? i know FFVII has had a load done on it but the origanals only FFVII all decent characters, good story good bosses good level up system bad final boss FFVIII characters alright, story drags in some places, the last area was terrible only difference between charcters is limits, all of them can do the same damage from the start with the poor draw system which takes ages and just gets in the way you can get to level 100 before going anywherem it would take a while but possible quite quickly and the magic is really random, cure can do the same as curaga because no matter the level of your magic is just goes from like 10 hp to 1000sjubeio

VII took way longer than VIII. There was way too much aimless wandering, the sometimes lack of any clear direction made one quest take hours. The storyline was good, but personally I thought eight was better. One thing eight did over the previous games was to be much more serious. All the earlier games had serious storylines but had a lot of humor thrown in to lighten the mood. VIII had a lot less forced humor, it stuck to the seriousness of the situation. VIII had way more intrigue and complexities, with all the interesting side-stories.

Not to mention the main character was much cooler, and likeable. Cloud was a douche in the beginning, and then after a lot of character development eh was still a self-centered douche. Squall got over himself, dealt with his past and moved on. He's much more respectable of a hero. Plus he doesn't go around pretending to be someone else. (I'm Cloud, no I'm Zack, no wait I'm Cloud again, ah screw it I'm Cid.) Don't get me wrong, both games are great, but i enjoyed eight over seven.

FF is a phenominal game series but when it comes to VII and VIII i'd prefer DQ IV :P it was truly an epic of epic epicness.

I want Zack and Ventus:P !
