why ruin stylised graphics with realistic looking trees?... this is a really badly art directed game.. no guts, playing it on the safe side, too many compromises.

i´ve only played hotshots 1...:P lol...i loved it...but then i couldnt find it anymore on local stores...but if it comes out on ps3 i´ll sure buy it

Don't get fooled by the cute graphics, this is a top Golf game and knocks spots off Tiger Woods.

It has real depth and is very challenging, then again so is Tiger Woods but only because it is so hard to play.

It is not that the competion is too hard it just has a constant feeling that the ball may go were you want and it may not, you somehow don't feel connected to the stroke.

I do miss links 2004 on the old Xbox, but Hot shots will be on my shopping list.

Definitely a must buy game for me... The ONLY golf game I play. I played Wii's swing away golf, and that's nothing in comparison with Hot shots golf. Really the best golf franchise on the market.

Tiger Woods, especially '07 is much better than this, if you want realism, accuracy and proper 'practice' and knowledge about golf, use tiger. if you want cute, cartoonish unrealistic mess around games... take this, this is more 'fun' i guess you could say but not for me, and yes i have played both, and yes this is just my opinion :)

some people prefer games like hot shots and mario golf over tiger woods cuz they want some different from something that just simulates something they can go out and do themselves...

I'm really looking forward to this game. I just hope we don't have to wait too long. Tiger Woods is great, but Hot Shots just has so much more character. I got all my friends at the golf course hooked on Hot Shots for PSP. Even fans of Tiger thought it was excellent. Hot Shots is a great game to pick up and play, while still maintaining a lot of depth for skilled players. This is definitely on my most wanted for PS3 list!

Open Tee is one of the only games I still play on my psp, and Hot Shots Golf is one of my all time favorites.  I've been craving this game ever since I got my ps3.  I'll buy it as soon as it comes out for sure.

I only played the PSP Hot Shots and loved it. I was suprised at the challenge, and the cartoon characters fit such a small screen better. Then all the fun in unlocking things and animations gave the game character. The courses were well done and challenging. It's just like any golf game before. I tried to get into Tiger Woods, but I just didn't feel a connection or any control with that stupid swing setup, and how is Tiger realistic, isn't there odd ways to change the ball's path while in the air?

Wow some of you have never played Hot Shot Golf, and if you haven't you should shut up. This game may look childish or w/e but it's a well built Golf game and I generally don't like Golf games, but this is one that I've played many times and I enjoyed it.

I have always wondered... what is the actual "literal" translation of "Minna no golf"? it sounds kinda like mini golf... btw, I am totally not into golf games... but Hot shots for the PS3 looks pretty fun.. I might have to get it.

I've never played any of the Hot Shots games before but this looks great. The course itself looks awesome and the character models look cool. People are calling them too cartoony, I think it looks better. And if you look closely, they are highly detailed and very good quality, better than what I've seen on Tiger Woods. *Writes down on to buy list*
