new ps3 help

My 60gb finally broke on me so i went and got a 250gb slim but i log on to my psn id and it wont let me re download my games that i brought it says something along the lines like its activated on 5 ps3s but i know that cant be i only had one before and i don't share my account to anyone.

Could anyone help me shed some light on this please.

Call sony, they'll be able to de-activate your account from your old ps3.

Iam in the uk and called sony but the guy on the other end was as clueless as me he told me to deactivate my old system but i told him i cant because it broke and i took it to bits to get a rental game out of the blueray drive then i asked him if he could do it but he said not if its not working so i gave up.

Guess i will just have to admit defeat.
