Ok so I love my xbox 360 but I am no fanboy don't get me wrong. Just picked up a PS3 today and wow. As far as hardware goes thing thing is boss. Bascially silent, very sexy looking, lightweight controller with battery built in, built in wi fi and the list goes on...but you all know that already. I am just really impressed. But as for my question. I have connected my PS3 to my wireless network but I am only getting about 50% signal strength. Is that going to make me lag online more than I would with a 80-90% signal strength?

That seems low for a good signal. You may want to try and get the signal strenth up.

Hmm, you may want to try and get either the router or your PS3 closer to each other. Or buy these things people talk about that extends your range (I dont know the name, so if someone knows what I am talking about please mention it). It COULD make you lag though. It depends, I guess you will have to see.

Alright I will just use an eithernet cable then. There is no way to get my ps3 closer to my router or vise versa. My house is wiered for eithernet but the one plug in my room is used up by my 360. I will just have to switch them when I play one or the other.
