New PSP Leaked

I put on a few more pics that I found below. At this point I am nearly 100% positive this is the new PSP. It's being reported by multiple sources. It's as good as done imo.

they make the screen slide up but doesn't put a 2nd analog stick wow. what a waste of extra space. unless its a total upgrade of the hardware with a better cpu chip, i won't bother getting this. if they put the START/SELECT button where a 2nd analog stick should be, that in my OPINION is just dumb. the start select could have gone somewhere else. anyways, i will wait till e3 till i see the official news release. its only a few days from now. i can wait.. paitently.

So, they ditched the UMD then? I heard they would, and i didn't see it on the pics. So, how much built in storage does it have?

IF this is really the PSP GO it looks pretty ugly imo. It has some awkward dimensions like it too stretched vertically.

Looks fake. I agree with Cody, it just doesn't look like something Sony would design.

It sure does look like the Mylo which makes me think these pictures are fake + it is kinda suspicious that on the top of the second picture it says June 2009 Episode13, but then again who knows ?digimonkey12

That's what I was referring to. This looks more like a system that was modeled after it rather than a repaint like the original.

I must say the video is pretty convincing, guess this is hello to the PSP Go.

Yeah he says Grand Turismo getting announced at E3, 16 gigs flash onboard memory, renting movies through the PSN store guess many will love this.

video of that Qore episode is on Cnet, soem guy form sony confirms 16GBs built in of memory and bluetooth, as well has GT for PSP and a new MGS for PSP i believe

Edit: yea, it looks weird, but i can deal with that. I'll get used too it, its ok lookign anyway. It sounds like a better overall system, so i can deal with it :P

And I dont have aPSP yet and I want one and since it will be able to download all the retail games that are all ready on the market (its only fair it doesnt ahve a UMD slot :P.) and Ive been wanting one for awhileVexx88

At least with a UMD you can see where your money went, which is why I still buy Cd s and no I dont carry them around with me they are all on my Mp3 player.digimonkey12

Better than nothing at all, oh well I am not complaining as long I am not the one downloading expensive things I dont have the options to return or resell.

As long games are still getting released on UMD s with artwork and so forth I am a happy gamer and collector.

If this truley gets announced at Sony press conference next month than this is right up there with Wii Music as one of the worst E3 announcements ever. The design is terrible.

If that's not gonna take UMD's then people who already have PSP'saren't gonna be able to sell their old one if they have games they love. Think about it. If the new PSP Go doesn't take UMD's, then people who already have PSP's wouldn't buy it. Plus, they would have to remake all of the games for it on discs. I just hope that Sony isn't going through with this piece of ****.

Im fine with the one analog stick but what a stupid place to put it. I dont like it that much. A bit disappointed to be honest. How is that guna keep up with the DSi??

it looks alright... but I'm not a fan of a DLC only console... I want to have the hard copy to some games, but I guess this is the wave of the future and i'll have to put up with it...

Totally bummed! No touch screen, same resolution, no new tech specs.....Just an update to what we all already have. On the good side, I'm sure previous models will get a firmware update, and enjoy all the new functionallity as well....

what does that have to do with the PSP GO? Just because this isn't the "PSP 2" does not mean there couldn't have touchscreen, 2nd analog or better design. You're thinking what Sony was thinking. Which is why they are losing.
