Great to hear. I'm new to the game but I'm hyped about it. Guns n' Roses, Foghat, Black Sabath, Iron Maiden....I'll be in heaven with this game.

Yup. The line up certainly is something. Just be prepared to horribly butcher their songs when you are first starting out. I can still remember how horribly I butchered Iron Man when I first started playing.

The learning curve is fair because there are 4 difficulty levels Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert.

Start on easy so you'll enjoy the game and get through some songs then when that gets too easy, move yourself up.

wait, newbie and Guitar Hero in the same sentence? I thought everybody has played this.....anyways, you need to play this game. Definitely something you shouldn't miss. :]tfaa

Well thanks for the heads up. Finally a PS3 game to look foward to this holiday season.

I don't know. It's been a while since I've played. The songs I can remember though definitely had vocals.

I doubt any of the songs you are looking forward to though will be missing their vocals because the artists are popular but you can always check gameplay vids to confirm.

The only song that they took the vocals out of was "Spanish Castle Magic" by Jimi Hendrix. Because they are getting more and more master tracks as opposed to them recording a cover of the track, more songs will sound exactly like the real thing.

Oh Ok. Here I'm refering about Guitar Hero 3 which will be the first one for the PS3. You know anything new about that one ?

No word on if any of those songs don't have their vocals. All of the master tracks will, and there is a small possibility that the cover tracks won't but like I said the only one so far between GH1 and GH2 to not have vocals has been Spanish Castle Magic and that's probably because they didn't feel comfortable with how the vocal track came out.

I'd expect all of them to have their vocal tracks for GH3. If not then I'll just learn the lyrics and sing it myself. haha

I've only played it once for 30 mins :(

But I started on hard.. sure I sucked so I went to medium for one song but went back to hard untill I could.. I just get VEEEERY bored with these rythm games if they are not too hard for me to play at that moment.

Iron Maiden, Foghat, KISS, Rolling Stones, Guns 'n Roses, Pearl Jam, Weezer, Black Sabbath , Dragonforce, Heart, Muse, Alice Cooper, Slayer, Living Colour, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, Tenacious D and Pat Benatar will definetly be in the game.
