why would they? i mean psp 2000 and 3000 came out no too long ago and making it compatible with ps3's to play remote play, and they investing it that. so making another psp this early will just hurt them.

Of course not, they're not making a profit with PS3 yet, PSP is selling well and Nintendo isn't thinking of a DS2.
