I need a new harddrive but theres no way I would pay that, not that I know the price I just know it will be alot.

The article doesn't state the speed of the hard drive. If it isn't 5400RPM, then I wouldn't use it in a PS3. The system was designed to utilize hard drivesat that speed, although some have proved that a faster 7200RPM does indeed work fine.

As impressive as it sounds, the price is probably going to be out of this world. Ill be sticking with a 250GB Western Digital Scorpio, which have been going down in price every few months. Even with that much space, I will never fill it.

uh u already can buy an external 1tb hard drive and hook it up to ur ps3...

Plus it takes up more space and creates more wires. Althought it is possible, it isnt the most practical suggestion of all time...

I always think that stuff is cool. 500 gb or a 1tb would be pretty awesome. Yeah the price for it initially are going to be sky high, but it'll drive the price down for smaller hdds so could upgrade to a 250 gb for cheaper.
