Neither my brother or I thought it would be, but after giving it a try, we both LOVE it. When we get bored with other games, we keep going back to Oblivion. There is always something to do, and you have almost complete freedom to do whatever you want. It's a great game because you can play it exactly the way you want to.
If you post this in system wars, all the lemmings will just cry "Damage control!! We've been playing it for a year, who cares about your exclusive content!!1!" If the port is bad, the lemmings bash it, but if the ports is better then their version, they find some other stupid fault with it. They're idiots, and i wouldn't waste any time going to system wars.
Yeah, I played the other consoles version, and it was alright, But for some reason it kept freezing at random intervals. (don't think it was the consoles fault). But hearing about the upgrades, I might have to snag this game. Just to say I own it. It's just one of those titles. the "must play" catagory.
I feel that Oblivion is over-rated. It brings nothing new to the RPG world. Sorry, but this game still doesn't interest me in any way.MaximumD
This article is more interesting because it shoots down some rumours that the PS3 is too weak to handle Oblivion. Everybody knows that the game is just a generic RPG. :)

I heard that they're patching the 360 version with similar optimizations. And even if they didn't end up doing that, why don't you take this to system wars... because this isn't the place for that lemmings and cows stupidity. Get a hold of yourself and grow up.

All the rest have every reason in the world to be excited

Interesting. Lets see. If Oblivion was only on the PC/360, you'd be the first to point that out. Now that it's out on the PS3 if the graphics were sub-par you'd be the first to point that out. Now that the graphics are "a little" better you say that "it's been out already for a year for those other systems." Keep trying xbot boy! Oblivion has sold 1.7 copies for the 360. I think that it can sell a bit more on the PS3 considering that there are only 10 MIL 360s on the market AND very few of the 90+ MIL PS2 owners have upgraded to the PS3. Oblivion will sell great on the PS3 despite it being out already on the PC/360.

 Its good to hear that Oblivion will shape up to be another good game on PS3 -- pity tho i bought the PC version ages ago so yeh ill hav to miss this one ( im sure R;FOM + Enchant Arm + COD3 will keep me happy at Aussie launch )
