Oblivion Tips?

So i literally just started a character and... well... its different from anything I've ever played. Does anyone have beginners tips. I believe my character is an assassin with the thief zodiac symbol if that helps. Thank you!

The best thing to do in the beginning is just complete the first few quests from the main plot (deliver the amulet of kings is the first) until you get to the Blade hideout and by then you'll have a horse for free. Then just do your own thing.

Well... I'm not an expert because I haven't completed it yet but I would recommend you not to level up for the moment, as enemies get stronger as you do. Visit all towns for missions in the guilds and from people and you'll get used to it. It's a really long game, with lots (LOTS) of stuff to do.

One more thing, once you become a guild's member, you can enter any of that guild in any town and take the stuff there. I took advantage of that to get money when I first started playing.

LOL... I haven't even got there (SOOOO many sidequests)

I'd recommend trying to get the Umbra sword and armour early on in the game (i got it at level 2) which will help out during the early parts of the game before you can upgrade to deidric or glass armour.
