Well they still haven't officially announced the 40gb for the US and it is just a matter of time before they do bc I can't think of any reason why not bring it to the US. Expect 40gb bundle announcement for US soon.
wouldnt hold my breath they already said there is no press conference scheduled, and if you think theyre lying, why would they keep the press conference date secret from the press?
if the nov 2 date from the hollywood reporter is ture, then its a bit too early for sony to announce it and secondly, they dont need a big press conference and probably wont have one to announce it and just issue a press release on the SCEA website like SCEE did
