Official - Valkyria Chronicles 2 coming Stateside for 2010

This whole Valkyria Chronicles 2 for PSP stuff is BS. As much as I love the PSP, I think that the second VC should have been on PS3.

Great news indeed and I hope it will sell well for the PSP because as far as I have understood It was kinda overlooked for the PS3 but at least I bought it :)

As much as I would have liked for it to be on PS3, I'm still pretty damn excited.

Because it has the potential to be so much more on the PS3. I feel that the limitations of the PSP are going to hold it back. Maybe if they had made a PSP side-story or something, but a full blown main series game on the handheld isn't a good idea to me.

Yes I agree, I have it too, I tried the demo and the next day I went out and bought it but as another GS member said, " it will probably do better for PSP because kids in Japan prefere those kind of games handheld" I say who knows ? but I hope so ! True. But, couldn't the PSP go without one exclusive? I know it's struggling, but the PS3 is just starting to get back up there. If they marketed this right in the West this time, it could sell like hotcakes.

I think it will do pretty well on the PSP and with a lover development cost for the PSP, it may be considered a success. I can't wait for it. Next summer can't come fast enough!

I would. They may do VC 3 on PS3(or 4), but I doubt aport of VC 2.

I like the idea but I think that could have done VC 2 on the PS3 instead and have a VC on the PSP as a filler between the two on the PS#. Resistance, God of War, and Assasin's Creed (I hope) are great examples of games like that on the PSP.

Better to have another VC on PSP than none at all, so I'm cool with this. Don't have many PSP games anyways.
