well i was all uber happy my dad connected comcast hi speed so im ready to play and i check how its working on my laptop, and honestly the internets working great and everything, pretty quick stuff, then im like yes lets hook up my ps3 and play some resistance online, and im here smiling ready to go but apparently my ps3 isnt, it detects the ethernet cable because when i take it out it says "ethernet cable unplugged", but it wont sign mein it wont go to the browser, almost like it doesnt exist, so basically it works fine on the laptop, noton the ps3, I NEED HELP B4 I GO KRAZY PLZ!!! btw theinternet box thing is rca if that helps or something, plz
And if all that doesn't work, actually unplug the power to your cable modem. Wait about 10 seconds, and then plug it back up. Thats the only way I could get my ps2 working back in the day. Though if you use a router, this becomes less an issue unless you're using wireless. Then it very well can be.
