ok let me say this... imho... Kobe is the second greatest of all time right now....maybe when lebron carreer is over he will be third and Jordan will be second... thats right I said it 2nd... Lebron is 23 or 24...he has plenty of time to get better... besides all the people naming people that played in the early 70's and till the mid 80's mean very little to me.

Dont get me wrong they were great and all but you have to admit the competition level is so much better than it use to be. I mean do you really think Wilt chamberlain will bust 100 on someone now. He barely had any post moves to tell the truth he was just tall. Just imagine if Kobe went back in time to play against people in those times... or worst yet imagine if Lebron whenever he reaches his prime goes back in time from his future(did you follow that? lol :D ) Sure he shouldnt have been 101 but to rated the highest in the game had to be done for Kobe...

Tmac should be 98 atleast... just look at this and read and by the way they rated tmac higher in 3s than mid range are these people high when they made this game or what.

NBA 2K9: Shooting Guard Ratings

Continuing our position-by-position look at NBA 2K9's player ratings, we come to the two-guard position. Although many community members were vocal regarding the point guard ratings inflation, it's time to put it all into perspective.

I do want to mention we received these ratings on Wednesday the 17th, a day after we received our preview build of the game. In the preview build, Kobe 'only' has an overall of 99. No idea yet which ratings are more recent and, regardless, all ratings are subject to change.
