Imagine that, Another EA game that is downgraded for now reason other than sloppy fat and lazy developers. This is really starting to get old. Why is it xbox titles looked better than ps2 but EA did not seem to purposely degrade one to the other. There were many more ps2's than 360's and it was cool on either one. Why switch that with next gen? Just wait till the NFL license comes back out from under them in another game year NFL (2k10) and people start deeing how this system can really perform for general gamer type games.
I love my all pro 2k8 gameplay and graphics, top notch or not, and it smashes maddens to the ground. A perfect example of sloppy design and a totaly backwards movement, the biggest fear everyone had when nfl went excluseive, it's spread to all of their games. Highly inferior.

The PS3 simply takes more effort to develop for.
Hence two games with the same amount of effort invested will look better on a 360
Yes the PS3 has a higher potential but finding people who are willing to invest so much extra work while they could just be developing for the easier platform is tough as time litterally is money when you have a staff of 40 people working on a project 40H a week and im not talking minimum wage wall-mart salarys
i know, just when i thought that Tony Hawk games couldn't get any worse they come out with Proving Ground, the Rigger and Hardcore "lifestyles" are complete gimmicks, the camera is crap, the graphics suck, as does the load times, framerate and character models. Skate is my one and only next gen skateboarding game.
I felt the same way. The Tony Hawk series is done. This one played pretty much like the old ones, but the graphics are kind of atrocious. Just not feeling it.
Skate, on the other hand, I can't wait for it. The IGN review sounded like it was basically going to revitalize the skating genre. Sounds like a buy to me.
