On The Fence About Uncharted

I've played parts of Uncharted, seen the trailers, read the reviews, but still can't bring myself to buy it.

The demo wasn't very impressive, and with the great games coming out later this year, I plan to be a bit more economic with my purchases. Is Uncharted worth $40 at this point, or are there many better games I could buy?

A decisive, concise reply would be nice, because I could buy it today.

Yes. The demo is a mere taster, and when you're playing the full game, the section that is in the demo just feels 10 times better. Just go for it, it's a brilliant game.ash10692

And what about weapons, I mean ammo for the good guns was painfully scarce in the demo. I'm not going to buy a game where I die constantly due to lack of ammo.

As long as you loot ammo from pretty most enemies you kill, you should be fine. You'll be going for headshots most of the time anyway.

I felt exactly the same while playing the demo. After I bought it, I ended up playing it after 10 hours without stopping or taking rests "Easy Mode" then I played the "Normal Mode" the next morning 10 hours without stopping. Then "Hard Mode for 15 hours. Now, I am trying to finish the game with "Crushing Mode" lol.

I bought it on the release date... months ago... I am still playing it :D

Playing the demo is what got me to buy the game, the demo is just a taster and the whole game is just fantastic in terms of story, gamepaly and pacing. A really gripping game once you get into it, only 8 hours long though but you will enjoy every min of it. BTW the game is now in the greatest hits collection so you can get it for cheaper and its the only blu-ray game right now to have the trophy system implemented.Swift_Boss_A

Uncharted was not one of the Greatest Hits releases, I don't believe it has been out long enough. It will most likely be in the next Greatest Hits release.

In the UK Uncharted is already in the Platinum range (greatest hits collection) The game was originally 45 pounds but now its only 20.

Nice, I wish it would come down in price here in The States, considering buying it myself.

I hate them stickers. Takes forever and if you don't take it off right then it leaves and bad mark, thankfully I was really careful with Uncharted.

All i'm gonna say is that i'm playing this game for the fourth time and i never, i mean never, played and beat a game before more than two times.

That's how good Uncharted is.

It's a great game so you made a good decision. I'd be playing it right now if it weren't for the twist which I hate it's just so boring.

I enjoyed Uncharted despite it having parts that frustrated the hell out of me.

Sure was better the Need for speed Pro-street that also came along with Uncharted when I bought my PS3.
