I was just wondering how to change this for ps3? Also, I remember when I first chosed mine there was only a few, are there more now? Can I use my own picture?

Go to Account Settings under the PlayStation network icon to change your avatar. They added a few more a while back but they're pretty much the same. And no you can't use your own picture.

There is a bunch of new LBP avatars available for download. They aren't free though.
