Online gaming in gerneral....im taking break. I

I'm generally sick of online gaming. SFIV, All-pro football, madden, VF5, NBA 2k its all killing me. I know the general reaction from most of you is I should practice or get better but I just don't have the time for that sort of thing, I have school, a girl, a frat club, martial arts training and the gym, i try to relax playing the game but it is highly annoying when someone is using the same spamming combo ( ex. akuma ex jumping fire ball, u block they grab u, or zangriefs spamming light low punch or bashing fist that you block and leads to a cyclone piledriver). Or the damn invincible route in all pro (the out route) that no matter how much football knowledge you have u can't beat (most guys that played knows cover 2 takes away the corners of the field of the sidelines however the developers are cluesless) madden! i'm not gonna say anything. Like I said I know people are going to tell me to practice but I learned that i am not a hardcore gamer. I learned what the hardcore crowd is like and I jus can't imagine...playing a game for like it is a sport, dedicating hoursa day to get better and finding exploits in games, i jus don't have the time. I guess im too causual for that, i jus can't sit there and play a game for 6 plus hours a day i have too much stuff to manage on the side. anyone on my same boat send me an invite at B_The_Battousai (PS3) and X Profile (Xbox 360).

People just find cheap ways to win and then gloat about it after the match. Anytime I do well I'm always accused of something after the match is over. It's just too much annoyance to deal with. When I play, I just want to be able to relax and play. Not have to deal with people that are 5 years younger than me squealing about how bad I am even though I just beat them.

The thing that annoys me the most now is people making second accounts for games and decorating them because they think their good. You know what I'm talking about. xX_-(insert stupid name)-_Xx, i(insert stupid name)x-, or when people have it LoOk LiKe ThIS. I don't know why, I just find that stuff to be so annoying.

I can't wait fir InFamous to come out so I can play a nice single player game.

This reminds me of a match in Warhawk.

I was playing with my main account (I am low level with it. I play Warhawk with my US account because I bought it there) and this guy was grabbing so much, really I never saw something like that. I was trying to get some trophies with my friend so we were kinda ignoring the match, but he kept grabbing ans grabbing and grabbing.

So I said to my friend "screw it, lets kick ass". 5 minutes from the end I end up in 1st and my friend in 2nd. He kept saying he wa awesome and it was luck. Same thing happened but with a 30 points difference from him.

Then he went 1vs1 with me, telling me he would kick my ass. I just told him he was going to lose, an he did 40-0!

But yeah, online can be annoying like hell. Just mute people and try to find a match with a person that is your level.

Unfortunately for me, my bluetooth makes me lag on online games. It's weird. I talk to my friends on a USB headset over my laptop just so I don't have to deal with it as much. I still get messages from people sometimes. I think I'm going to try to stick to single player or online co op as much as possible. Those seem to be the only things that are enjoyable anymore.

That's why I pretty much only play GTA4, Burnout Paradise, and Rock Band 2 online.

This is more for your blog. Yes online gaming can become frustrating at times, this is why you should play a nice enjoyable singleplayer game when you can.K1LLR3175

it doesn't really take that much time...just takes patience and knowledge for some of the things you mentioned.

1. when spamming fireballs, you have to inch closer to them and jumping vertically to avoid em. theres a sweet spot you need to be. don't know about the zangief one

2. cover 2 works if you can get to the qb. there are holes between the safety and cb....at first you think they will pick it off...but if you have a slant going to the middle, the safety might not get there because he has to cover deep middle.m like with any zones, there are open spots. plus if you keep picking that play, a.i. will catch up and recongnize that.

3. hardcore gamers have lives....i don't think its fair you make em seem like we have no lives. for awhile i had work school, my gf, drinkin and kickin it with friends, gym, and church (4 nights a week) and still found time to be decent or good (not trying to brag) with games.

4. with that said if you're frustrated, play single player...if competition is not in your blood, its okay...games are supposed to be fun

There is an easier way. Go to Accessory settings and set your output to your headset and input to 'Do Not Use'.

I'm with you. Online gaming is something I've never been able to get into. I'm the type of person who just plays games in 30-60 minute bursts... There's no way I can compete with the people who practice for 8 hours a day. SFIV is especially bad - it seems like EVERYONE who plays it is either an expert or a spammer. I'm still keeping the game though, because it's fun to play offline with friends.

look...buy an n64, and go play some games there...

I'm not a fanboy of any kind, I own a PS3 and a Wii, and I play the 360 all the time at my friends house. all that I am saying is that the games that come out for the PS3 and the 360 are mainly focused around the hardcore croud, and take time and skill to beat, while the Wii games are targeted on people who don't have the time to do so.
