So out of all the games out right now, only 9 of them are gonna get trophies?!! And only 2 0f those games are out right now. are you serious?? Are any other games gonna patch it?? Or is this the list untill new games come out.

And he (Eric or Jeff) only listed first party games.

They probably are in talks with 3rd parties right now with it. Those are all of the 1st paty games that are coming out. Everyone already knew about warhawk. Is anybody really going to go back and play Ridge Racer and Resistance 1, just for trophies. Yes a lot of games won't still because they are already done like Valkyria, Disgaea 3, Soul Caliber 4, and so on. Every game at least from sony after 08 will probably have them on a regular basis. gamenerd15

Don't worry itll get better each game will get an update. Also, multiplat games will be easier because the xbox360 achievements are already there. just change it to ps3 accomplishments

i think its a little harder than that since ps3 and 360 codding is different thats why many multiplats end up being a disaster on ps3 cuz they already have it on 360 they just want to change a few things and expect the game to be great on ps3 too

I'll bet they patch it soon after. After all it's their best game.

the guy said majority of games i think, so while they are confirmed some devs maybe implementing it now so a patch will come out a little later.

In order for Sony to legitimize the trophy system, this was a necessary move.

Lots of people exchange game saves, and if the trophy system awarded trophies retroactively based on game saves, then people who didn't actually put in the work would be awarded trophies they didn't earn.

You can't really have a legitimate trophy system with that going on.

Yeah I know, but it still kind of disappointed me. I hope devs of old games actually takes the time to bring a new update with trophies though...I'd like to see trophies for at least MGS4, The Darkness, Battlefield, Grand Theft Auto, Rockband, Guitar Hero and DMC4 since they all essentially already have trophy systems set or it could be easily done.

The video showed the guy going to a friends list and seeing which ones his friend had and compared it to what he did. Yes you are the fanboy and are just trying to make 360 still sound better and yourself feel good because you paid $50 for your bragging rights.

They even SAID you can compare them to your friends trophies in the same games. You may think it's pointless now, but this is going to be implemented in the future with home.

LOL, Ok so its not perfect and long over due. I for one am looking forward to this update more so for the xmb features. The trophy system seems cool and I also like the idea of a gamer level. I do believe sony stated all devs would have the ability to patch for trophie, so, Well see which devs appriciate their fans and take the time to add trophy support. As far as having to replay games, LOL Thats what gamers do right?
