I feel like people are so pissed with EA right now, that if they see at least one frame skip, they automatically say "the game sucks, don't buy it, and don't support EA".
Just because they took a little longer to get the blue ray version out doesn't mean it got skimped on. I can't wait to get it.
I'm not jumping on the "screw EA" bandwagon, because they didn't even make the game, they simply proted it to bluray, and seem to have done a pretty dang good job considering the game wasn't designed for that format from the beginning. Even if there are framerate issues, they could be alot worse. than a frame or two skipping here and there.
Just look at Assassins Creed, and how people say the game is freezing on them. No one complains about that, just because "it's happening on the other system too".
their are some framerate problems and it is not as good as the 360 version I have to say (only technically). EA did mess up because they are lazy. I'm still going to get the game though.I feel like people are so pissed with EA right now, that if they see at least one frame skip, they automatically say "the game sucks, don't buy it, and don't support EA".

played a few hours of half life 2 and upto chamber 16 on Portal. No real problems yet.
Worth a 9.0 here at Gamespot easily

Are they really that bad though? I mean a little slow down here and there shouldn't stop the others from getting this game. I think it's a great addition to the library.
Because EA is just as untalented as Valve when it comes to working on different hardware? 360 is very easy for people that write PC/MAC games. I've heard the the 360 is very forgiving, just like the PC. So it doesnt' take a rocket scientist to see that Valve and EA just don't have the programming talent required to port years upon years of PC/360 code to a completely different platform. GN can diss the PS3 all he wants, but I seriously think it's a case of sour grapes. Maybe they should hire smarter programmers? Oh wait, I think they are probably all at Naughty Dog and Insomniac. hmm. (oh, and Infinity Ward of course :)).Azulrosa
