Ordered PS3 from SEARS

I recently ordered a PS3 bundle from Sears Canada because I was given Sears $250 gift certificate for my birthday. Now normally I wouldn't order a PS3 from Sears but they don't redeem certificates for cash any more and quite frankly, what else am I going to buy from Sears? Anywho, it's been 3 weeks since I've ordered it and it's still not in. I called last week Wednesday asking when it was going to be in and they said Thursday, the very next day. Well Thursday rolls around and I go in to pick up my PS3. No dice...they say it will be in with their next shipment which is Monday. Well now it's Monday and my PS3 STILL isn't in. They say it should be in tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2nd). What should I do if it isn't in tomorrow? Should I demand a discount? I've been waiting for over 3 weeks now!

Man, that sucks. I'd ask to speak to a manager, and if that doesn't work, call the corporate office. Keep moving up the chain of command. Good luck to you.

Throw a complete mank in their place while there are lots of potential customers around, and make sure everyone is hearing you, and just before you say:

"I'VE BEEN WAITING 3 WEEKS FOR THIS DAMN PS3!!!"

They will probably come to some kind of agreement.

Embarrasing, but hey, $ are $. ;)

Yeah and so I've talked to Sears...NOW they tell me that if it's not in by June 8th, to contact them again. I'm ready to go postal...I don't think owning GTA IV will be able to satisfy the blood lust I now have...

I'd demand a discount, it's ridiculous what they are doing to you.

Supposedly it's NOW coming in on or just before the 16th of June. They told me I will be getting a discount. As for how much I am not sure...they said, "15-20% discount MAYBE". It better be at least a 20% discount. The bundle was $500. Getting $100 knocked off would only be fair. I think 50% discount would be TRUE justice but I know Sears would never do that. Sears just lost a customer forever. It's not like I really ever shopped there before. However, they have lost my business altogether and possibly many more to come because I have told SEVERAL people about my experience. Good luck Sears. No wonder I hardly see anyone shopping there.

Why did you get a ps3? You could have got some new bed sheets! jk. I never knew Sears sold video games - probably only the Sears around my area since I live in a suburban city.

Anyways, Sears tends to always have bad service - well at least from my experience with them. My sister has always given complaints about their terrible service, and next thing you know, a few weeks later she gets a $10-$30 gift certificate.
