Petition Sony to give everyone a free gift?

We can kind of guess they won't do it on their own. I wouldn't know how to go about starting this but I think it's a good idea.

I know we get the service free anyway but at the very least PS plus users should get something because they pay. It would be great for consumer relations if everyone got something.

It's just a few days without online.

I'm not in the slightest way angry or dissapointed in Sony.... so, unless I'm GUARNATEED I'll get a free gift I'm not petitioning... in fact I feel kinda bad for Sony.... they're gonna really feel this one, just because a bunch of **** can't play CoD or Portal 2.... Feels weird to think that there was a time BEFORE online gaming.... having a few buddies over, solo-ing it.... or actually going outside and such... like sheesh....

Come on, it's not like you're paying for PSN. It's a free service and they've been attacked by an outside source. Subsequently, they shut down the service in order to make it more secure for the consumer. Now you feel like you're entitled to something for nothing?

Dude, the PSN hasn't always been great, BUT over the last couple of years it's been solid. So I can't fault Sony for doing what they need to do to bring us all better service.Now...please don't take what I'm about to say as an insult(cause this is for all who think the world is coming to an end), but if the PSN being down seems to bring your life to a stop, you might need to find another hobby.

I love gaming, but it's just "ONE" of the things I like to do.

I am a PS+ member, only hope they extend my membership for the days it has been down.

Aside from that, yeah, it sucks I can't play the new SOCOM online with others, so i've been using this time to play the story mode - tons of fun there still !!!!

I hope Sony gives you a free gift - a nice little knick-knack for your Harbour Apratment in PS Home !!!

They should at least extend the period of a person's PSN Plus contract by the number of days the outage lasts - that only seems fair.

As for those who don't pay for the Plus (like me), they can just be patient. I've been playing online for free for almost a year and this is the first time the network has been down for such a long period and in the grand scheme of things, its not a big deal.

Nah I want an apology from the bigwigs for taking as long as it has to get PSN up and running.

when your cable goes out do you get free gifts?, When your power goes out do you get credits from the power company? If you answered yes to any of those please tell me so i can sign up with those companies. Its unfortunate you cannot play online but that is not stopping your gaming fun, unless you just play MAG or a couple others most games have a SP, so you cant here annoying kids talking ish or constant wining for people that are getting pwned! Sounds like a small blessing for a few days. Its not the end of the world! Also I think you would like sony to fully look into the problem to make sure they dont bring it back online and then they did not notice someting else that will take it down again
