pictures not in right order

put a load of pics (a comic) on my psp but when i went to look at them the order is messed up big time

and of course you cant rearange the order on the psp

the pics wher saved in order so the time(which i think the psp usses to order things) should work but it dosent any ideas

I would think that the PSP would order pictures by name (alphabetical/numerical) and not the order you saved them in.

yeah that would be the smart way but oh no date oh got them in some order lol

Alright: To all you PSP comic readers, here is what I've done so far: 1. The PSP orders files by timestamp, not my name! 2. Changing a timestamp (at least with windows 7 is easy!) 3. Naming MAY matter, but I'm too lazy to try it out, so it's best to follow what worked for me! After some time searching I've found a program that modifies the timestamps for you, puts the files in a .zip and you can extract if for perfect results every time! (Note: I didn't try this myself, but it could be easier... I'm just paranoid, I won't talk about the program for fear of it being against the rules or whatever. Now: Step 1 - Get the files in order (the way you want them) on Windows 7 (Other window's version, it may work... but again, too lazy to try.) Step 2 - Highlight all the files you wish to transfer. Step 3 - Right-click your first file, then select Rename from the drop-down menu and Rename ALL of the files "abcd" (without the quotes, and again... other names may work, but this worked my first try) Step 4 - Re-Highlight all your files if necessary, right-click on the FIRST file (Name would be "abcd (1)" (assuming you use my suggestion) Step 5 - In the drop down menu there is an option to "rotate clockwise" and "rotate counterclockwise." This part is sort of up to your personal preference so I'll give some options -- Option 1: Click "rotate clockwise" and it'll rotate all of your pictures 90 degrees right. (This is my first choice, as it makes reading them with one-hand possible, so I can read secretly while I pretend to write things down during a seminar.) -- Option 2: "Rotate counterclockwise" For the same reason as above, but maybe if you're left-handed? Give either way a shot if you feel it might work for you. -- Option 3: Click "Rotate Clockwise" then immediately after "Rotate counterclockwise" This will return the picture to it's original orientation and will reflect the change in timestamp as is required. Step 6: (not done yet, sorry!) Select all your files from "abcd (10") to the last file in your folder. Step 7: Wait! Don't do anything! With them highlighted you must wait for your computer's clock to change by 1 minute. Step 8: Re-rotate all of the files you selected in Step 6 once in one direction, then back in the other direction. (Yes, there is a reason for this) Step 9: Copy to your PSP! Now, the reason for the waiting it Step 7 and the re-rotation of Step 8 is to change the timestamp on the files from number 10 to the last file. While the PSP doesn't seem to have many rules for ordering AFTER timestamp, it tends to order it in one of 2 fashions: First: abcd (1), abcd (10), abcd (11), abcd (12),abcd (2)... -- Sometimes it varies a little, could start with 9, or go as high as 17-ish. Second: abcd (1), abcd (10) and on through abcd (19), abcd (2) through abcd (29)... However, if you change the timestamp on the ones higher than 10, it should force them to come after the single digits, If you have any further ordering problems, repeat the steps above to change the timestamp where they begin to mess up. Hope this helped someone, somewhat of a late-night epiphany for me. I tried various ways and they were hit-and-miss. It seemed to vary based on the feelings of my PSP at the time! (Many nights praying to it's machine-spirit... or perhaps curse...) No other 40k fans out there? Ah well, I'm glad I found it out, and I'll save this to re-post at times I feel it is necessary.
