i ask this because i dont see it on the hd dvd site and i only see it for sale on a blu ray disc or a 5 disc dvd set so is this one of the discs that actually uses up alot the discHD Resolutions take up alot of space. Blurays can only hold 3.5 (or 2.5 i forget) hours of HD quality video
EDIT: my bad its on 4 blu rays. why is that? couldnt it fit on one?Robotron92

Planet earth is already on blu-ray, in a 4 blu-ray box set. Each blu-ray is 25GB which I found to be very WTF considering they could of used just 2, 50GB blu-ray's... (I think they used 4 25GB discs to make more money, it cost's $100)munu9  linked Amazon has it for $67 shipped but they are sold out until may. Frys may have it cheaper then the $100 retail too.
