Playstation 3 with less problems (Game Console wise)

I've heard about less and less problems on the Playstation 3 with it's console and games (Although i know that All consoles have it's problems nothing is Perfect 100%) from people that i have talked to and on other websites. But it's still less problems on Playstation 3's. And on the flip side i've heard a number of problems with the Xbox 360's (The Red Ring of Death being the biggest biggest one,Accounts being hacked into via other Xbox Live members etc).

Then why do more gamers continue to Buy Xbox 360's?

You would think that would encourage gamers to Buy a console like the Playstation 3 with it's track record of having a number of less problems and issues with it's launched console so far. But as of right now the Price for the Playstation 3 is holding gamers back to pursue Buying a Playstation 3 (I'm one of them). But here's hoping that once the price of the Playstation 3 goes down (In March/April). That more Playstation 3 consoles will be sold.
