Well it depends what game.. in Socom usually 90% have mics.. in COD usually aboot 80%.. sadly very few people use mics in Haze though :cry: True, I've noticed a lot of people use them in Resistance 2 Co-op. Not in poor old Haze though :(

Well Warhawk is not surprising since there are so many idiots and children on there... R2 as well i rarely come across people using mics.. but both those games are not open mic.. which means you have to hold a button to talk.. idk which one check your manuals..

Not in poor old Haze though :( Never played R2 Coop for more than a couple minutes (i hate it) so i wouldnt know.. people sure as hell don't use em in competitive though..
I realy want to get in to PSN but when people don't talk it feels like your playing with BOTs, and thats no fun to me considering everyone on XBL talks granted alot of them are annoying at least it still feels like your playing people not bots...
I'm gonna pick up KZ2 hopefully people chat in that, i was thinking of geting SFIV for PS3 cus 360 D-Pad sucks balls but the community has me hung.

Yeah... a big part of that is though that Sony never bundled in a headset.. if they were smart they would bundle in the Official Headset with all PS3's now... SFIV will have a respectable community on PS3... and if you need people who talk just play with friends or add people off here.. very few people on my friendslist are from just playing online.. mostly because they never message or chat..
Well one is the fact sony did not give us one with our ps3, and well most ppl prefer expending on games that on accesories, tough Its pretty lame no one talks on some games , it kinda makes u wonder if the inversion on an original mic was worth it
I don't use my mic much only when it is really helpful, like telling someone in Rockband 2 to retry the song and telling them I have trouble on playing Everlong on drums. In Warhawk I always have it on but I may not talk, I'll just listen for some good squad tactics and stuff.
i have a mic and it's always plugged in, but unless i am playing with friends it's on the ground. I got so sick of little kids screaming in the mic/talking about how they are god at gaming, raving about their stats.. and the older gamers trash talking them, putting them in their places.. it just got so old.. i'm sure many people like me do the same thing and only use the mic while playing with friends. mics do seem to draw (cliche) trash talking..
