Playstation needs a super smash bros game

... I just thought of something I found to be funny... Couldn't Sackboy be like a rip off of Kirby (like if they made a SSB's type game) I mean, you have all these costumes of characters you see on Sony platforms...

First of all I'm not a Nintendo fan. Anyways, I find it hard. Nintendo has more characters than Sony and alot of the most famous characters that appeared in PS1 and PS2 are 3rd party. Sora, Snake and all those are 3rd parties. The only characters that I think are from Sony are Nathan Hale, Killzone characters. I got my ps3 six months ago so I don't know alot of Sony but it will be hard for a Smash brothers on a Sony console.Miroku32

How would you go about it though? Nintendo has characters that span about 20 years. Playstation isn't really "stocked" with characters. Most of Playstation's well known faces were made by third party devs. What would you really have? Kratos, Rachet & Clank, Jak and Daxter and 200 cars (ala Gran Turismo).

I can't really think of anything. Nintendo has characters to spare that they can freely use anywhere they wish.

lol one problem with this is that, most of PS3's note worthy characters only use guns.. whereas nintendo has ppl that use fists, or fireballs, or swallows ppl 2 copy them.

Yeah there are a lot of characters that use guns but theres still a few cartoony characters.
