PLease help ps3 error code

Igot the YLOD on my 60gb and I fixed it using the oven method. After that I tired downloading 3.00 durring it froze at 61 percent and shut down. Now every time i turn it on it goes STRAIGHT to the downloading screen and attempts to install it, but it once agin freezes at 61% gives me an erro code message than shuts down. Please does anyone now of anything that might be wrong with it or how I can fix it without sending it in?

Well is it even common, I have only heard of this in the past few weeks, I have never experienced any problems with my 60GB

the oven method is taking your ps3 apart putting the motherboard in the oven at 425f for 10 minutes. I dk the 60gbs I think are mostly getting the YLOD. Ive only heard of two people having this problem.

Hmm, well I would not have put a motherboard in the oven.

I thought the YLOD was caused by overheating ?

im not sure how it is caused but a known way to self fix it is to heat the mother board with a heat gun, since ididnt have one i went on youtube to see if there was another way and there was, type in ps3 oven YLOD fix on outube it will show how its done..

Look for PS3 secret menu in youtube

That might help better, it's like a technicians menu for TV's.
