Please talk me out of trading in my PS3.

Still don't get why people sell consoles to get another one, you already bought the original one keep it and just save up for the next one you want. TM1

Loser fanboys. I have all 3 systems. I buy every system that comes out actually. Don't whine to me about money either. PS3 SUCKS. PERIOD. Junk for exclusives, that's why I only have 7 games for it and rarely use the thing. Bluray? I have an LG Superblu for that and the thing plays HDDVDs also. Resistance is garbage. I have a $3000 1080P HDTV and 7.1 Surround Sound and neither myself or any of my friends can play that game without laughing. PS2 germs all over that one. Motorstorm was fun, for 3 hours. Ridge Racer 7 and Formula 1 were nothing special. Genji? JUNK. Virtua Fighter 5 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma were pretty fun. I also have a bunch of the DL games, but only Tekken 5: DR, GO! Sudoku, MK2, Blast Factor and Nucleus are enjoyable.

So now Warhawk is out....ooooh, boogy boogy! Not interested in a multiplayer only game with only 5 maps. Not even for $40.....maybe $20. Heavenly Sword you say? The reviews pretty much have it pegged as barely above average......PASS. But what about Lair? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, JUNK. Sure, I'll get MGS4 and Gran Turismo 5, but seriously......stop defending the PS3. I play my damn Wii more than it.

Pretty sad when I have 11 games for that and 37 Virtual Console games. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Metroid Prime 3, Zelda:Twilight Princess and Super Paper Mario trump the entire line of PS3 exclusives. Hell, Wii Sports comes with the system for FREE and gets played more by many people....yes, I'm willing to bet on that one.

Ah yes, XBOX 360. Well, I have 69 games for it and 76 Live Arcade games (full versions, not trial). Why so many games for one system already? Simple. Best exclusives and best multiplatform version every time. For all you kids who are missing out I will tell you this......Bioshock, Forza 2, Crackdown, Gears of War, Dead Rising and a little game called HALO 3.....holy hell son!

My point is this. EVERY SYSTEM has exclusive games worth owning, but if you can afford only 1 system and want the best versions of multiplatform games and hardcore exclusives you should go with a 360. Yes, I bought the Elite and I upgraded my Pro with a 120 GB HDD for whatever reason that I can't recall at the moment. Everyone can moan all they want about video games forever. Nintendo is winning now.....didn't see that one coming. That goes to show that the market is dictated not by the hardcore, but by the everyday joes and kiddies.

Maybe I'm just too old for this garbage (26) and need to let the kids have their games. I'm no harcore gamer anymore. My high school and college days are gone. I have a REAL LIFE now and the only reason I even wrote this was because I'm sick of you children arguing about whether the Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo are better.

that whole thing could have been summed up with, "its all a matter of taste", because I haven't turned my Wii on in a eternity and I only check my 360 to see if any new demos came out and I use my PS3 all the time to play PS2 games and to play PS3 games with free online and have a more reliable experience because I don't have to worry that the next time I turn on my 360 on...it won't.

Guys, I am really getting frustrated right now. About 3 months ago I traded in my 360 for a PS3. Now Im kinda getting frustrated and thinking I made a bad decision. I love the PS3 as a media player and the quality is great in my opinion.

I just see all these great games coming out for the 360. I see the multi plats like Army of Two and COD4 coming out and am really wishing I had my 360 due to the fact that the multiplats have a better frame rate etc... So Im considering dropping the PS3 for an Elite.

Am I just being an idiot or thinking logically? Need some help.

btw, cod4 will be the same on the ps3, and how are these gamesthe reason toswitchsystems in the first place. that within itself is idiotic. all this Frame BS has blinded everyone and made themtoo ****ing picky. A good game can run at a stable 30fps with no slow downs at all, but should i tell you this,something will happen again and you'll start regreting it again.Oh and if you switch to a 360, it doesn't matter which model you pick, becuase the rings of death are all the same, and in the end you would lose a lot of money for absolutely nothing by selling and buying back and forth

Its entirely up to you. All ill sy is if you trade it in, you wont get ratchet & clank, MGS4, Uncharted, Haze, and you'll get UT3 a lot later and without the PC crossover support the PS3 will have.

The xbox 360 has little going for it but shooters at the moment, so iif you want a bit of variety i'd say hold off for a while.

but for my opinion is that the 360 has awsome games, by the way beautiful, you spend so much money on the ps3 than 360 + the 360 has the RRD (red ring of death) to worry about and you'll need to wait for so long to make it be shipped to your house when that happens.i should say if buying a xbox360 what later in the year where they will make a better 360 and the RRD will be fixed...
