No. I will pay for the demo once, and I will pay for the full game once. I can't wait until the full game comes out, not as much to play it but to end all these whiny glorified demo posts. Two options are available in my book, people can buy it or ignore it. Whining about the price on the forums will get you nothing.
I have bought the Prologue (I am in EUrope)
18 pound it cost and i dont think of it as a waste. 70+ cars and true only 6 tracks but there are variations on these like reverse and some of the tracks get changed about. Overall i think it is a nice package and excited about finishing all the events hopefully. And then buy the Ferrari F2007. Looks so much fun to drive.
Just to set the record straight, PD has already come out and said that if you buy Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, the when Gran Turiso 5 hits, you'll be able to add on to Prolouge the extras in Gran Turismo 5 for $20.jdogthebomb09

[QUOTE="kenshinhimura16"]For GT5 not, but I am going to get GT5P and GT5savinger
...what?
Cause the thread said GT5 twice, Im not buying GT5 twice, Im buying Prologue and then GT5.

I'd like to see a link too. Not calling you a liar, but rather I don't see the purpose of paying for part of the game, then turning around a few months later and paying full price for the rest of the game. Seems.......silly. If this is true, though, that would make a whole heck of a lot more sense, and may pursuade me into buying Prologue.

What I heard was they they were gonna give a trade option for those with the BD copy and would be getting like 20 off or something similar.
good to know most people are with me on the idea of paying for both prologue and the full version. Its pretty dumb especially with all the games coming out that can entertain you till then (gta4, haze, mgs4, socom confrontation to name a few) and the infinite online "never gets old" value of call of duty 4. Th3Kev1nI dont think its a waste to get the prologue. 1) You get to see what the game is like for less than full price. This is good for me because I have always wanted to online play for Gran Tourismo. 2) This one was delayed quite a bit so who can really guess when the full version will actually come out. Sure you wouldnt expect the same delays, but it could be over a year before the full version.
With GTA 4 coming out, why would I pay for GT5 once? Lets see, racing vs. racing, shooting, storyline, side missions, etc. I think its clear who the real winner here is.chickmagnet_1yeah, the winner is...GT5. I dont like GTA and never have. I can get racing, shooting, storyline, and side missions out of any number of titles that do it better than GTA IMO. Besides, the racing in GTA isnt exactly on the same level or style as GT5.
i brought GT5P and i will be picing up the full game when its release, id rather have a tester of the best racer to play for 12 months than wait another year for the full game.
and its not like your being charged for a full game works out under half the price of a full game.
wonder how many people would have paid for a few levels of MGS4 or Haze and a few multplayer maps if it meant they could try out the games a year before there full release.

I would. ;)
I'm definitely paying for both Prologue and GT5. Why? Simple, I enjoy Gran Turismo franchise and it's my favorite racing game. :)
Ive got GT5P and i'm gonna buy GT5 when it drops next yr some time. For the money i dont see what all the fuss is about with the prologue, it has far more to offer than say Motorstorm and yet people had no problems payin full price for that, i just dont understand some peoples logic.
Im pleased with my purchase and it'll tide me over nicely til next yr.
sorry if you think GT5 Full game is coming out this year you are so mistaken its not even funny. I am guessing that this time next year we will be talking about how it will only be 4 months till full comes out and who has a GT25.
That said I will be buying both copies which will mean i will have 3 seeing as how i imported the japanese one. I cant wait and since it has online no 2 races will ever be the same. And i am quite good at GT i even beat about 500 other racers in a local tournament....actually dominated
