ogre battle is just the best game ive played hands down.

Since there has been a flood of recent perfect 10s including games like GTA4 and Metal Gear Solid 4, I just wanted to know what the people think the best game of all time is. I keep hearing from my girl friend that Ocarina of Time is the best, while plenty of my friends think some games of the Metal Gear Solid series reigns supreme. What about you guys? mrpear

I thought MGS4 would be my new # 1 favorite but I was wrong. At least for a few days it was but when I looked back and reevaluated my conscience, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time still reigns supreme. OoT is still the best in my eyes and it's going to be tough for any game to bring down the champ. If MGS4 cant, who can? Perhaps, another epic Zelda game but this time in High Definition? We all know the Wii wont be able to do it. Maybe next gen? *sigh*

Well i dont have 1 best game i never have done, i just cannot pick between certain games which is better so i tend to stick them in the same catergory, my fav games.

I will list a few, i could probably list 50+ because new games are constantly setting the bar higher so i just judge games on how must i enjoyed them at the time, not on wheter there graphics etc are crap compared to now adays.

Quite a few games from this generation have jumped into my favs list also.

I could name quite a few more but i wont as the list is longish anyway considering he only asked for 1 game, there was a mickey mouse game for the mega drive i used to love but i cannot remeber the name of it also alex the kid that was built into the master system and soccer 7 for the spectrum, damn im still listing gmes.

If i had to choose 1, sorry i couldnt but i could narrow it down to around 3 MGS3/MGS4/Bioshock but still i enjoyed allot of other games just as much just these 3 stuck in my mind with great gameplay and great storys.

PSone- Final Fantasy VII, whether you liked it or not, was a milestone in gaming history. Metal Gear Solid as runner up.

PS2- Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence or Final Fantasy XII.

PS3- Metal Gear Solid 4 (and very soon, Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII:P)

SNES- Super Metroid hands down.

Nintendo 64- Ocarina of Time or Mario 64

GameCube- Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime, REmake, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Wii- Super Mario Galaxy or Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
